Piclo (previously known as Open Utility) is a London-based software company that has been building software for the energy industry since 2013. We developed and trialled Piclo Flex, a streamlined and digital process for DSO flexibility procurement. It is an online marketplace where Distribution System Operators (DSOs) in the UK can source flexibility from the rapidly growing number of Flex Providers.

Project LEO is focused on the challenges of creating a functional local energy system. As Work Package 2 Lead, Piclo, will be working alongside leading flex and energy systems operators Origami, EDF Energy, and Nuvve Corporation, to build on our existing Piclo platform while we encourage new flexibility and a growth in services that do not traditionally exist in the DNO world.
